Scoble on eBay and recession proofing a site

Robert Scoble is one of the foremost technology bloggers.  Until just recently, he was the blogging voice of Microsoft.  He now is one of a growing cadre of video bloggers at podtech.  As usual, he has a very interesting view on most things technology related and eBay’s usage as a recession proofing tool for web sites is no exception.

Well, you can build in eBay auctions into your business plan. Look at Mpire’s site, for instance. They are using eBay’s APIs to mashup items from eBay with their own data. If you buy something off of this site they get a cut from eBay.
