I got a handy dandy email from the folks at eBay recently. In it, was the newest discount code from eBay. If you use it during checkout, it will net you a $25 OFF a $100 purchase.

How to redeem your eBay Holiday Savings Coupon:
1. Log in at www.ebay.com using your eBay User ID on the Coupon on the left.
2. Shop with sellers who accept PayPal. Just look for the PayPal logo.
3. Ensure the listing ends before the Coupon expiration date (December 18, 2007 11:59:59 PM, PST)
4. During checkout, select PayPal as your payment method. (Make sure the email address on your eBay User ID account is also on your PayPal account. More details.)
5. When prompted, enter your redemption code: CHOLIDAY0725D

It looks like it has to be a PayPal purchase as well. Does that make it a PayPal coupon as well? Not really, but it certainly helps out the eBay owned PayPal’s numbers. I haven’t tried the code yet, but I’m fairly sure that it will work for me. Whether it’s tied to a user ID or not, I don’t know. Also note that it expires on December 18, 2007. That makes sense since that will assure that most of the items will be received before Christmas.
