eBay is having a free listing day. From what I’ve read, it’s the first one in nearly 5 years. For the entire day, you can list auctions for free.
The catch is that the item has to use (and pay for) gallery. Remember that it’s the listing fee that’s free not the add ons. Also, the listing has to have a starting price of $9.99 or less. There are a few other exceptions like the usual eBay motors exclusion. Otherwise, you really should take advantage of this if you have the items to sell. I personally don’t have much for items that I would list at that price.
Another thing to look out for is the difference if you sell for a fixed price or start it at $9.99. If I sell an item for $24.99 but start an auction at $9.99 and it sells for $11.95, I’ve lost $13 in income. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to do that it save myself the $1-$2 on the listing fee.
