eBay launched the ToGo service for website owners and webmasters that gives them the ability to embed a flash widget into any website. You can refine the auctions down to any one auction or just a group of auctions by keyword/search.
The problem with this is that you don’t get paid for it. If you expect any number of your users to click through to the auctions that you show, you should seriously consider getting set up as an affiliate for eBay either directly through the eBay affiliate program or through the auctionads service. Both will pay you based on the final sales that the users that click through buy. Auctionads on the other hand, uses the advantage of mass conglomeration to put all the affiliates together and to hit a higher tier for payouts. That can mean at least an extra 20% above what you make individually. Well, unless the users that click through buy over 2 million worth of products.
Of course, the flash widgets that you can get through ToGo are a lot prettier than either affiliate program offers and they operate very smoothly. Hopefully, auctionads will be upgrading to a nice interface that is a little flashier than the current Adsense looking ads.
One things for sure, if you have a website that could work with auctions on eBay, you need to give one of the affiliate programs a look.
