If you like giving, you’ll want to head on over to e2bid.com. They are a non-profit (from what I can tell) that gives the seller 100% of the sale price and then donates the listing price to the charity of the sellers choice.
At the moment, there are only 9 charities listed as available for donations. Of course, if you want to help with the footwork, I’m sure they could help with adding another. It’s an England/Wales company, so the international charities are more likely to be added quickly.
The idea is sound, and you can’t argue with giving to charity. You can argue, however, that the site just isn’t going to gain any traction except as a niche site. That’s unfortunate, but every little bit helps when you’re talking about charity.
