Men’s Vogue is auctioning off a Limited Edition Watch with the proceeds going to charity. Here’s the details:

Introducing a timepiece that blends function with formal.
TX, the new luxe line from Timex, has achieved the feat
of marrying Italian design and German engineering—and
they’ve created a watch just for Men’s Vogue.

The TX World Time Limited Edition has rose-gold
buttons, an embossed face under sapphire crystal, and
an alligator leather band. And the interior is just as
impressive: The four-motor analog component is aided by
computing power that keeps the time and season for
each of the exotic locales that encircle the face. If you
spend as much time in airports as some people do on the
couch, this is the watch for you.

Only 100 numbered pieces were made, and we’re
auctioning the first five here. All proceeds from winning
bids will benefit Ninemillion.org, a charity that provides
education for children affected by violence and conflict.

And it’s a pretty sweet looking watch. The current bid is at $350, so it’s possible that you could get it at a good price. It still has 4 day and 7 hours on it. Go give it a look and see if you might want to bid.

It’s from the Living Doll bit about the miniature killer and is completely authentic and comes damage free with a certificate of authenticity.

It’s up over $15,000 already and only has a little over 5 days left. You have to be pre-qualified to bid on the model, but if you’ve got the lettuce to spend, and you’re a CSI fan, It should be well worth it. I don’t need to mention that it could be come a very valuable collectible at some point.

Best thing about the whole thing is that the proceeds will go to CASA (Court appointed special advocate) that deals with special cases involving minors. A very good cause and a great chance to support a charity while getting something that could make you some dough down the road.

It has a rolling/sliding door. Rather than the door opening up like the doors we are used to, it merely slides down and under the car allowing for entry or exiting the car in a narrow space. Pretty cool actually. Of course it never got much headway for production and I don’t suppose the doors would be very well crash rated. Can’t be too much infrastructure in the doors if they slide down under the car.

1992 Corvette Prototype Supercar…Only One Built! This is a museum quality, show piece! Supercar has patented technologies that are not yet offered to the public. This handcrafted supercar is stored in a semi-climate controlled environment since early 1990’s. This original one owner Supercar is the actual vehicle that was used for photo (press) events, seen on TV, talked about on radio, seen in many publications worldwide including but not limited to…The Robb Report, Vette Vues, Popular Mechanics, Corvette Fever, Super Chevy, Popular Hot Rodding, Daily Record, The Item, numerous East Coast shows, test vehicle for OEM testing including but not limited to…CARB/EPA emissions, mile per gallon (MPG), ¼ mile, performance and operating temperature. Miles are from shows and testing procedures only and vehicle has few minor chips and scratches. This is the prototype that did it all! This completely documented Supercar has six (6) Chevrolet Factory Options and eleven (11) NSI Factory Options-totaling 17 options! This 6-Speed Manual Supercar Corvette High Performance Competition Supercar Coupe is Torch Red (painted in original type Urethane paint), Black Leather Interior and Bronze Tint removable roof panel. There is a complete documentation binder that goes with the vehicle.

I’m a Corvette lover from way back, or as far back as I go anyways, and it would be pretty darn cool to own something like this. Unfortunately for me, I don’t have the $250,000 starting bid to even enter the fray. Still a fun looking car though and yet another great auction on eBay.

One of Bill Mack’s relatives noticed the baby book on eBay and notified him of it’s availability.

The scrapbook contained more than 40 “congratulations on the birth of baby” cards, a list of gifts received, receipts from the hospital, birth announcements from the Crescent-News and Cecil Cyclone, Easter cards, Christmas gift cards and first birthday cards.

In the middle of the book was a detailed and chronological diary of baby Billy Mack’s first year of life.

Of course, it wouldn’t be so easy as to just bid on it. The item had already been sold. After contacting the person who bought the book on eBay, Bill was able to get his hands on the book that was started over 65 years ago. It seems that it had been missing from their family for about 20 or so years.

Incredible the things you can find on eBay!

I would imagine that these could become fairly valuable. You can get one for about $200 on eBay but they are going for as much as $999 at the moment. Of course, at the moment, there are only 5 on eBay so that is helping to drive the demand for them as well. If more start to show up, the price will drop and vice versa if there are fewer than believed.

Seems to have become a bit of a collectors week.
