I stumbled upon a site called Call My Auction that is relatively new to the market. The premise is a pretty new one and could prove useful for those of you who do a lot of traveling and a lot of buying on eBay.
Call My Auction is a free service that allows you to call a special 1-800 number and use your phone to make bids and snipe auctions. Could be a very useful tool. Caveat: The service is most likely free because they are using the eBay affiliate program. I don’t have a problem with that simply because if they can make their money from eBay rather than having to charge for the service, that makes it better for you and me.
