Hi there,
Yeah, police auctions do seem to be ‘big business’ in their own right.
A site of ours has UK police auction information on it, and has recently been featured in The Guardian online newspaper, as well as the ‘old fashioned’ print version.
The article was basically about purchasing police auction items on the cheap and then selling them on for a profit.
One thing that does make me wonder with this, is why more police forces don’t use the power of the net to sell off unclaimed property?
It looks like more and more people are interested in purchasing property from the police and then re-selling it on ebay.
