Baby clothes are expensive in retail stores. And they only wear the clothes a few times before they outgrow them. Because of their quick use life, their resale value can be fairly high. Sometimes selling for up to 90% of their retail value. Obviously, name brands such as Tommy, Gap, and Old Navy sell better than the generic brands from Walmart and K-mart.
Don’t have a baby room to source your products from? Take a few minutes to take a look through them at the next garage sale you go to. Often, you can find individual items for less than $1. If you’re lucky, you’ll find one with a $x for all you can fit in the bag sale and increase your profits exponentially. Next time you’re at a yard/garage sale, buy a few pieces and give it a try.
