Amazon adds auto parts
27 October 2006Amazon announced that they have added an auto parts section to their already expansive website.
We’re providing a broad selection of products for auto enthusiasts, who are passionate about the appearance and performance of their cars, but also making the Automotive Store convenient for the everyday motorist who is looking for basic car care and maintenance items
Amazon says that they will offer over 1 million parts and accessories for autos. The new addition will allow consumers to enter in their make, model and year and see a selection of parts that are available for their car.

With buying car parts online becoming bigger all the time hopefully now that amazon has joined prices will be lower than ever as it tends to be more value for money buying used car parts rather than new.

This is not good for us small guys in the auto parts and tires business as we know the search engines pick up the big guys first.
